U.S. gas prices have now averaged $4.48 a gallon, up more than 30 cents over the past week and more than $1.50 since the start of the Iran war. A recent poll shows that 44% of Americans have cut back on their car trips in the face of rising costs, but President Donald Trump has repeatedly assured that prices will fall once the war ends. NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez reports for TODAY.
