The New York Knicks are coming off a very convincing 39-point victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 1. The first game was an exercise in taking a lead. 2:30 in the first, up 1. 10:17 in the second, up 11. 2:18 left in the fourth, up 37.

Philadelphia got double-digit scoring from all five starters, but had no answer for Jalen Brunson and OG Anunoby, especially in crunch time. This series will come down more to situational basketball than volume scoring.

The 76ers will have to find a way to keep these games close. The Knicks aren’t a team the 76ers can hope to come back against if they’ve given up a double-digit lead for most of the game.
