The Verge is getting way more personal with following feeds
I have probably written a thousand stories for this website on our favorite applications adding new features, so it is a change of fun rhythm to write one on ourselves by doing the same thing. Today, The penis Add new exciting features that will allow you to personalize exactly how you read the site. You can follow individual subjects and authors, then read them in a personalized home page flow and via a daily e-mail digest that is specific to you.
On the first page, you will now see a rocking that says “follow” at the top of our news feed. Click on it and you can start choosing the subjects you want to fill your own personalized flow. You will also see “+” buttons around the website, which will allow you to add new authors and subjects when you meet them. You will have to register for a Edge Account to access the features, but they are all available for free – subscribers and non -bodies.
You notice that it does a lot Like the way an RSS feed or a social network works. It is a lot by design. Everything is a flow now, and everything is customizable. We believe that our site should work in the same way. What you see today is the first step towards adding deeper personalization features through The penisAnd we will continue to rely on this foundation in the coming months.
We also launch another way for people to read The penis: a daily newsletter. It’s called The penis every dayAnd that will provide a lot of our best titles in your reception box every day during the week at 7 a.m. It will be organized by our editorial team every day and will allow you to read the biggest stories of the last 24 hours directly from your email. Our first edition is released tomorrow, and we would have rekindled if you registered. The newsletter will be free for everyone. (But a note for our subscribers: stay attentive … there is more to come.)
It is a big launch for us, and I hope you all like what we have worked on. But stay – there is much more than we want to build.
