There are a few reasons why I like to use resale applications, but the main one is that I am not a very financially responsible person and these platforms – in particular my beloved choly – consulted me to sell my old things for money, then use this money to buy cheaper versions of what I would buy otherwise. When I have to buy new things (and I use the term “must” unfortunately, unfortunately, because for any reason, I always seem to have to do so), I am not unrelated to buy now, pay for subsequent configurations, which allow me to make a purchase without immediately putting a big old tooth in my current account. So you can imagine that I was very happy to see a press release in my reception box this morning by going to me that Poshmark and Klarna, a popular BNPL facilitator, join their strengths. It turns out that partnership is not what you think. It’s not that you can buy now, pay later on Poshmark, but you can quickly resell Everything you bought then, paid later in the past.

The details of the Poshmark-Klarna partnership

Bénéré as “a strategic partnership to simplify resale and allow consumers to gain from their cabinets”, this new partnership allows users to find their purchases spent on the Klarna application, then to put them quickly and easily on Poshmark each time they are ready to sell for something new.

I tested it myself and it works very well. I opened the labeled tab payments On my Klarna application, I then opened one of the payments during a recent purchase. All the items I bought in this order were displayed with two buttons: Buy again And Resell. Under Resell, you can choose between eBay and Poshmark. I selected Poshmark and this application opened up to a new list, which imported a photo of the combination I chose, a title torn from the detail list, and even a selected category (women> Pants and combinations> Combinations and branches). The description, the size, the brand and the color were empty, just like the section where I could enter the price for which I wanted to sell it, but all this is easy to fill.

And I would not be able to mention this nugget of the version: at the moment, the first cutlery which use the Klarna functionality will receive $ 10 in chic credit to spend on the application.

What do you think so far?

Why I like this feature

First of all, I think it’s great that Poshmark seems to be constantly innovating. There is always a new feature (such as Smart Sell or Promoted Closet) or a partnership (like the one that automatically shares your ads to Facebook Marketplace buyers) to help you earn money.

But it’s not exactly new either. A handful of retailers – such as Everlane, Reformation, Lulus, For Love & Lemons, Hill House Home, Farm Rio and Sézane – also allow you to list your purchases directly from your order page on their websites. I wouldn’t call myself a crusader of sustainability or anything, but I like when brands make an effort to be better, in general, and this initiative to support circular fashion pleases me.
