IDF strikes Hezbollah weapons facility hidden under former clinic

The weapons production site was located in Tyre, a city in southern Lebanon from which Hezbollah members launched missiles towards Israel.
The IDF on Monday struck a Hezbollah weapons production site located in a former civilian medical clinic and a few meters from a mosque, the army said.
The site was located in the city of Tyre, in southern Lebanon.
The IDF was able to determine the presence of weapons through secondary explosions that occurred inside the building following military strikes on the installation.
Advance warnings were issued to mitigate harm to civilians, with precise munitions and aerial surveillance also being put in place.
“The terrorist organization Hezbollah continues to operate in and near civilian and medical infrastructure,” the Israeli military said, “including religious sites and medical clinics, and cynically exploits them to carry out terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers.”

IDF strikes infrastructure and rocket launch sites in Tire
In addition, the army struck Hezbollah infrastructure sites located in the city of Tire last week.
In late March, the IDF issued evacuation orders after identifying Hezbollah operatives launching heavy rocket fire from residential areas of the city.
Arab IDF military spokesman Colonel (res) Avichay Adraee said the terrorist group fired around 120 rockets from the outskirts of Tyre.
