Best Buy’s Rare $150 iPhone Air Discount Lands Just Before Memorial Day

All iPhone Air models at Best Buy are get $150 off as part of the Remembrance Day sale, bringing down prices across all storage tiers and color options. All devices are also unlocked. The deal ends on May 25.
THE 256GB iPhone Air is now $850, up from $1,000, while 512 GB configurations go from $1,200 to $1,050. Likewise, 1TB models are also $150 off, bringing them down from $1,400 to $1,250. (Quick note: Best Buy’s original prices are $1 more than Apple’s for some reason, so it’s technically a $149 discount.)
THE iPhoneAir relies heavily on its ultra-thin design, measuring just 5.6 millimeters (0.22 inches) thick and weighing 165 grams (5.8 ounces). Despite this slim profile, it still packs a large 6.5-inch display, decent battery life, as well as a titanium frame and Ceramic Shield protection for added durability.
CNET’s Abrar Al-Heeti’s initial concerns about the phone bending or poor battery life were allayed fairly quickly. “After using this extremely thin device for a week, my concerns about durability and battery life have mostly disappeared,” she wrote in her review. That said, she also noted that having only a single rear lens was a setback, even with the performance of the single 48-megapixel camera. A month later, she discovered that she could live just fine with one camera.

Why this agreement is important
This deal brings a rare $150 across-the-board price reduction on all iPhone Air models. Unlocked iPhone deals tend not to appear that often, and when they do, they often apply to a single color or storage option, so it’s nice to see it applied to all variants here. If the iPhone Air is the model for you and you don’t want to get stuck with a lengthy carrier contract, this deal is worth jumping into.
