IPL 2026 | ‘Maza toh aya’: 21-year-old Sakib Hussain reacts to Virat Kohli’s dismissal after SRH vs RCB game

NEW DELHI: Young Sunrisers Hyderabad pacer Sakib Hussain had a night to remember after dismissing Virat Kohli in SRH’s big IPL 2026 win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Hyderabad.
The 21-year-old from Bihar called Kohli’s wicket a dream moment. “Maza toh aya (It was joy for me). Virat Kohli’s wicket was a dream wicket for me,” he told broadcasters after the match.
Sakib continued his impressive maiden IPL season by claiming another wicket, taking his tally to 15 wickets in 10 matches. He has now managed to take at least one wicket in every match this season, becoming one of SRH’s biggest success stories.
Sunrisers Hyderabad put up another explosive batting show, posting a massive 255/4. Abhishek Sharma gave SRH a good start with a quickfire 56 from 22 balls, attacking Bhuvneshwar Kumar from the start.
Ishan Kishan added 79 from 44 balls with smart strokeplay, while Heinrich Klaasen smashed 51 from just 24 balls and completely dominated Josh Hazlewood in an over.
Nitish Reddy’s late appearance helped SRH cross the 250-run mark as the team hammered 20 fours and 16 sixes in total.
RCB never really looked capable of chasing down such a massive target. Virat Kohli managed just 15 runs, while Devdutt Padikkal also failed to make a big impact. Venkatesh Iyer provided some early momentum, but the chase soon became unrealistic.
Once RCB realized victory was out of reach, Rajat Patidar and Krunal Pandya focused on reaching the important 166-run mark needed to secure a top-two finish. Patidar scored 56 runs, while Krunal remained unbeaten with 41 runs as RCB finished at 200/4 despite losing by 55 runs.
Even after losing, RCB finished on top of the league table, while SRH finished third with the same number of points.
