The Gwinnett County Police Department says the Homicide Unit is investigating a dead body found in Grayson.
In a Sunday afternoon, police said the death “is now being investigated as a domestic related homicide.”
The body was found in a location off of Wilkerson Way.
Sgt. Jennifer Richter told a Channel 2 Action News photographer that officers went to a home on Sunday morning after a neighbor called about someone dead.

When officers got to the home, they found the female victim and called the Homicide Unit in to investigate.
Investigators are still working to determine what happened, but said there is no threat to public safety and that the situation is an isolated incident.
The victim was not identified, pending police informing their next of kin.
