Dynabook Portégé Z40L-N Review: Replaceable Batteries, High Price

Let’s start with design. Pedged by a navy blue chassis and a black keyboard, the color palette has the impression of having been drawn from the 1990s, and I also found that it attracts fingerprints and spots. You don’t have to worry about getting these prints on the screen, at least, because the 14 -inch display (with a resolution of 1,920 x 1,200 pixels) is not a touch screen.
The keyboard offers a decent action but seems smaller than it is, probably because of its tiny arrow keys and even smaller page / page buttons, which may well be the smallest keys that I have ever seen on a laptop keyboard. The touchpad is high, partly because it has two discreet physical buttons below. Buttons! I was a semi-eterno of extremely retro design until I felt how pastoming and fragile, which made me sad.
The main specifications are the mid-range, with an Intel Core Ultra 7 258V processor, 32 GB of RAM and a semiconductor training at 1-Terabete. The selection of ports, however, is very good for a corporate machine, sporting two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 4 support (one necessary for load), two USB-A ports, a full-size HDMI port, Ethernet and a microSD card location-have thus been assisted on the left and right sides of the device.

Unfortunately, all of this did not contribute much to the performance front, the brought transforming some of the worst reference scores that I saw from an Intel -based machine in the ultra -era nucleus. Through commercial applications, the tasks focused on the graphics and the work of AI, the carried could barely raise the head of the pillow, dragging 10 to 15% behind the average scoring at all levels. It is not a sufficient slowdown to make a visible difference in simple tasks such as web navigation and the application of light productivity, but whoever pushes his machines with more complex tasks such as the editing of photos and the creation of IA images will probably notice.
