Microsoft Copilot now has a face

First there was Clipippy. Now Microsoft Copilot has a face, with reactions to what you tell him.
Microsoft shows how Copilot could “look”: as an anthropomorphic tear in a way, with expressions that react to your real -time interactions. The discovery was reported on Friday by the penis.
Currently, the new Copilot look is presented to a limited number of users. Microsoft’s web page shows how to find out if you have it: by opening Copilot, by clicking on the “micro” icon to launch verbal interactions with COPILOT, then by clicking on the “equipment” icon or settings. This will open the options to switch offi or on.
“What if you could see Copilot react and talk while you are talking?” Said Microsoft. “With this experience, we bring more non -verbal communication to Copilot, improving vocal conversations with a visual expression in real time. This first prototype allows you to discuss, think, ask for advice or play with Copilot, in a more engaging and expressive way.”
Currently, the new co -pilot appearance option is simply offered to consumers, not to people who subscribe to a Microsoft 365 business plan.

Microsoft has tended to try to give his assistants a more friendly face, the desktop assistant (which included Clippit / Clippy) as well as Microsoft Bob and its cottery of animated assistants. However, this did not go so well when Microsoft launched and canceled Microsoft Tay, his assistant who was quickly corrupted by Internet trolls. Anthropomorphic mascots have also become a staple food in certain cultures, such as Japan.
Copilot is already based enough on emojis to communicate what he “feels”. Ironically, when Bing Search / Copilot was launched, it was quite kind – probably too much. Now it’s much more bland.
