‘The Fantastic Four: First Steps’: Are There Post-Credits Scenes?

Marvel’s new film is here, and we have good and bad news. Good: you don’t have to do homework before seeing the Fantastic Four: First Steps, according to the president of Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige. The BAD: This is the last Marvel film that we get until 2026. The more good: it has a super rotten score. Bad: you will miss if you don’t stay to look at the credits.
Friday, The Fantastic Four: First Steps was presented in theaters and launches the six phase of the Marvel cinematic universe. He drops the viewers into a retrofuturistic world where – due to an accident that has transferred them and gave them powers – the heroes are Reed Richards / Mister Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Sue Storm / Invisible Woman (Vanessa Kirby), Johnny Storm / Human Torch (Joseph Quinn) and Ben Grimm / The Thing (Ebon Moss-Bachrach).
Kourtnee Jackson de Cnet examined the first steps, what she noted is “heavy on the dynamics of science fiction and the tender family”. The film featuring the first Marvel family continues the tradition of bonus clips after the film. Here is what you need to know about the post-key scenes.
The fantastic four: do the first steps have post-key scenes?
Yes, this is certainly the case. The new Fantastic Four film has A mid-credit and post-key scene. If you want to watch both, you should plan to stay in the theater for about 11 minutes after the film.
If you are here for more details on what is happening in these clips, you will see it below. Do not continue to read Unless you want an overview full of spoiler.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps follows Marvel’s first family for a pivotal period of their lives: the pregnancy and the birth of Reed and the Baby of Sue, Franklin. This also coincided with the most important challenge that the four had been faced: their planet served as a snack for the intimidating galactus.
In the end, the four manage to remove their house from the menu, and the film ends with them by continuing their functions as protectors of their world (and adorable Franklin). It is clear that Franklin is not the average infant – Galactus identified the baby as a worthy successor eater of planet, and the simple presence of Franklin around his mother seemed enough to resuscitate her after the final battle of the boss. The median scene of the film, which begins about two minutes after the end, revolves around Franklin and his loving mom.
The scene takes place four years later, which means that Franklin is no longer a little whole. Sue and Franklin sit on a sofa together, and she gets up to take a new book to read together. She asks Herbie if the robot has seen the book that Franklin loves, and she exchanges one of her favorites, the origin of the species of Charles Darwin, for the other, which is a book more suited to children. The exchange between mom and robot suggests that the little boy is advanced for his age. But good times are interrupted when Sue feels that something is off.
She returns to Franklin to find him tender her hand and touching a covered character who was not there a few moments earlier. We do not see the face of the intruder, but he holds a mask of money. This is undoubtedly the new antagonistic doctor of the MCU. The public sees a message that says: “The fantastic four will return to Avengers: Doomsday.”
The film Avengers will showcase Robert Downey Jr. as Doom and should be released on December 18, 2026.
As for the second post-key scene: if you stay until the end, you will catch the cast represented as cartoons on a TV.
What could the appearance of Doctor Doom mean?
Between Mephisto in Ironheart and the Camée du Docteur Victor Von Doom In this film, MCU theories will shoot everywhere. Let’s join.
The story of Doom’s comic strip mainly disagreed with the Fantastic Four, with a deep rivalry between him and Reed Richards / MR. Fantastic. The two were once university classmates but never close friends while Victor put himself above everyone. During the scenarios, they fought while occasionally abandoning their beef to fight against a common threat.
While the main antagonist of the four, he attacked, developed various perverse plots and even kidnapped Franklin. Like Reed, he is a scientific whiz and had brushes with the Silver Surfer and Galactus. In this spirit, he could either intend to grasp Franklin to use the child’s cosmic capacities or resurrection powers, or he presented himself to ask for help from the fantastic four in a different reality. Or both. After all, Galactus was deposited in a different dimension and could very well have landed in the universe with 616 – this earth could be its next snack. The question is: Will the Doctor Doom be in his evil era or his semi-hero era when Avengers: Doomsday falls next year?
Franklin can create what are called “pocket universe”, which are fundamentally autonomous in a larger universe. Given that the film Doomsday could possibly see the multifiverse drama playing after the events of Doctor Strange: Multaveve of Madness (remember this scene on a scene on a scene on a scene on a scene on a scene on Incursion?) And Fantastic Four, Doctor Doom could try to exploit the powers of the young boy to stop – or take advantage of it – whatever the disaster on the horizon. And let’s not forget this post-key scene in Brave New World, where Sam Wilson was severely warned that “the others” coming from another world.
The realities and the universes can be on the edge of the collision when we see Doom then, then the intrigue will take us all in secret wars, which, hopefully, enter the Battleworld comic scenario. Prepare to see a bunch of heroes and new bad guys converge through the multiverse (which also includes X-Men and Loki).
