The depth has clarified the defensive secondary of Dallas cowboys, while being key members of the corner group sitting on the puppy. The recruit Shavon Revel is in this group of inactive members, patiently dating back full health.

Recently, the executive vice-president of Dallas Cowboys, Stephen Jones, addressed Revel’s status. He congratulated the young corner, while distributing an honest assessment of the place where he is with his knee recovery.

“We just think the world of him,” said Jones on the San Antonio sports star. “We really think he’s going to be a player’s hell in this league. But we are on the same thing (like Trevon Diggs) when we think we will recover it.”

There is no concrete calendar in place for the return of Revel. It will prove over time, depending on the reaction of Revel’s knee to an increased workload at the training camp. Jones is convinced that Revel could soon be back, but he puts a percent chance of being wrong.

“I am 99% that he will be back in the next two weeks,” added Jones, “but it is then a recruit, so it will take him a minute to get used to it and what is a pro and this type of thing.”

Revel began his university career in Louisburg before moving to the East Carolina. In three seasons at the ECU, Revel appeared in 24 games. He produced 37 plated and found three interceptions.

He played in just three games during his senior season, but the very effort in 2023 has always been placed high enough on the dashboards to go to a previous round. The cowboys called on Revel with the 76th choice in the third round of the NFL 2025 draft.

For his first NFL training camp, Revel started the year on the puppy. Recently, Revel was spotted in training with his helmet and her crampons. For the first time to all camps, he was in the hearth and not the rehabilitation group. It was a positive sign for the recruit, because it suggested that he could be on the way to come back soon.

Cowboys have their first pre-season match against Los Angeles Rams on August 9. They will face the Ravens of Baltimore on August 16 and will finish the calendar with a battle against the Falcons of Atlanta on August 22. It is not clear if Revel will have the chance to prepare for one of these clashes, but it seems to be quite close to return to the closure of July.
