Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons demands trade: ‘I no longer want to be here’ | Dallas Cowboys

Friday, the rusher of the pass of Superstar Micah Parsons asked for a job, declaring on social networks that “I do not want to play for the Cowboys of Dallas.”
Parsons, 26, did not participate in field activities in the training camp while looking for a long -term extension that would make him one of the best -paid defensive players in the League.
Athletics reported earlier on Friday than the team and the double All-Pro were still “distant” with their number of contracts.
Of course, Parsons could bluff to force the cowboys hand, but the language of its long post Friday on X clearly communicated its frustration.
“Yes, I wanted to be here. I did everything I could to show that I wanted to be a cowboys and wear the star of my helmet,” wrote Parsons.
“… Unfortunately, I don’t want to be here anymore. I no longer want to be held to close the door negotiations without my agent.
Parsons said his attempts to discuss an extension started after the 2023 season, but were repeatedly respected by “radio silence” of the cowboys.
“Until today, the team has not had a single conversation with my agent on a contract,” wrote Parsons. “No request was made by my agent on money, the years or anything else.
“I have always remained silent, but again after repeated shots to myself and to all the stories that I made a difficult decision, I no longer want to play for Dallas Cowboys. My trade request was submitted to Stephen Jones personally.”
Parsons is expected to win 24 million dollars this season over its fifth year. The defensive recruit of the year of NFL 2021 recorded two -digit bags in each of its first four seasons and saw the market for rushers to explode.
The defensive winger Myles Garrett signed an extension of $ 160 million over four years with the Browns of Cleveland. Maxx Crosby signed an extension of $ 106.5 million over three years with Las Vegas raiders. The TJ Watt extension with Pittsburgh’s Steelers was three years and 123 million dollars. An extension Parsons would probably be in the same stage – or more.
According to athletics, Parsons and the owner of the Jerry Jones team spoke directly in the spring, and the cowboys think that these conversations were negotiations with an agreement for an extension in place. The Parsons camp has rather portrayed meetings as talks and not negotiations, and that the Cowboys refused to negotiate with its agent because team officials thought that an agreement was already in place.
Speaking in April during the annual meeting of the NFL League, Jones recognized his conversation with Parsons, saying that the two spoke for “five or six hours” to determine a long -term extension.
“Most of the problems we agree on. We discussed all of this,” Jones said on April 1. “But we obviously do not agree with the new contract.”
The Dallas Morning News reported in March that Parsons was looking for an extension of a $ 200 million contract which would make him the best paid non-quaks of the NFL.
Parsons recorded 12 bags, 43 plated and two forced escapes in 13 games (all departures) last season.
Selection of the pro bowl during each of its first four seasons of the league, Parsons totaled 256 plated (63 for the loss), 112 strokes of quarters, 52.5 bags, nine forced escaped and four recovery escaped in 63 career games (all departures).
