2025 WWE SummerSlam predictions, card, date, start time, matches, expert picks for the epic two-night event

WWE Summerslam is bigger than ever. For the first time, the WWE cornerstone summer blockbuster is two nights. The company recruited some of its biggest stars for the occasion, including an epic revenge match between WWE champion John Cena and Cody Rhodes. The two Megastars will seek to settle their differences according to the street combat rules in the main Sunday event.
Among the other 11 games that take place for this weekend are every world title in the male and female divisions in play. This includes an interesting confrontation between the world champion of heavy goods vehicles Gunther and CM Punk. Gunther resumed his title of Jey USO after having lost it in Wrestlemania in April now, he welcomes his first real challenge to CM Punk, which has not yet obtained a world title since his return to WWE in 2023. This match should be at night 1 on Saturday.
Elsewhere on Saturday, WWE women’s champion Tiffany Stratton is undoubtedly hosting her most difficult test to date in the storm that is Jade Cargill. The titles of the female team are also at stake when Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez will face the former world holders Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair. There is always an angle of celebrity for Summerslam and this year is no different because the music superstar Jelly Roll should team up with Randy Orton in a team match against Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul.
With so much action, take a look at whom CBS sports wrestling experts choose all the matches on Saturday and Sunday.

2025 WWE Summerslam Night 1 predictions
World heavyweight championship – Gunther (C) against cm punk: This is a game without bad response for a winner. Gunther is a strong world champion and is doing this position. The punk victory would be a good time for the fans and it is inevitable that he again has a world title at some point. Looking towards the future, it is probably more intriguing than Punk has the title when Rollins returns from injury, still as a bank contract holder. This is a sufficient reason to assume that Punk leaves Summerslam as world heavyweight champion. Pick: CM Punk wins the title – Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)
WWE Women’s Championship – Tiffany Stratton (C) against Jade Cargill: The victory of the title of Stratton aroused much more enthusiasm than its subsequent reign. Her nasty “Mean Girl” persona delighted the fans, but she had a hard time caring for the identity of a hero. Stratton is talented between the strings, but it is not enough to maintain interest. Cargill’s inexperience makes him a risky WWE female champion, but there is enough behind at the moment to hazard him. She looks like a star, and it’s more than Stratton cannot say at the moment. Pick: Cargill wins the title – Shakiel Mahjouri (also Brent Brookhouse)
Randy Orton & Jelly Roll against Drew McIntyre & Logan Paul: There is no doubt here, right? Jelly Roll obtains the place of celebrity, and the celebrity place is almost always a celebrity victory – especially if the celebrity is the Babyface of the match. In order not to be too hard, but in physical interactions limited to television, Mr. Roll has shown neither real athletics nor affinity for the struggle. The match will be sufficiently practiced so that it does not matter, and Orton will work on the vast majority of the match, and Jelly will get the spit. Pick: Randy Orton and Jelly Roll Win – Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)
WWE women’s team championships – Judgment Day (Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez) (C) against Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss: Bliss and Flair should not lose consecutive title matches in weeks of interval. The former female champions failed to dethrone on the day of judgment in a fatal four -way match in evolution. They will only have one team to face this weekend. WWE women generally do not benefit from the same narrative quality as men. The Bliss and Flair’s convenience alliance is at least something on which they can build. Pick: Bliss and Flair win the titles – Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
Roman Reigns & Jey USO against Bron Breakker & Bronson Reed: Stop in front of the USO and, in particular, Reigns is a major promotion for their opponents. Summerslam should give more knowledge of the injury of legitimate Rollins. If WWE abandons USO, it could undergo the loss. More likely, Reigns and USO will remain strong to maintain the power of the star of the main event of the company. Breakker and Reed cannot become regular autumn guys – they are supposed to be the future of the company – but they can manage a great defeat against two recent world champions. Pick: Reigns and USO win – Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
Sami Zayn against Karrion Kross: Kross does not feel like a guy you have won in a place “Get The Fans” on a major card. It is a great talent for the intermediate card, but there is the question of “What then?” If he obtains victory. Zayn remaining strong has much more value in the future. Pick: Sami Zayn wins – Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)
2025 WWE SUMMERSLAM Night 2 Prédictions
Undisputed WWE championship – John Cena (C) against Cody Rhodes (street fight): My choice can be a little wanting to have finished with all this reign of title of Cena. He was flat – not to mention Hackstrung by rock and Travis Scott who goes to Mia after the heel tour – and there is no reason for him to continue. Rhodes’ victory can stabilize the ship a little and allow things to move forward while Cena can “see the light” and finish her pre-retirement dates like the Babyface he has always been. Pick: Cody Rhodes wins the title – Stream
I completely share the feeling of Brent, but I don’t think WWE will move away from the one year plan they have for Cena. The record world champion will lose his title before retiring. He will also have a crisis of faith in his behavior. But neither will occur without prefiguration. Cena will once again find a harmful way of beating Rhodes, but Summerslam could establish the foundations for the possible Redemption and Redemption of Cena. Pick: Cena keeps the title – Mahjouri
Women’s world championship – Naomi (C) against Rhea Ripley against Iyo Sky: This triple threatening match consists more of binding the loose ends. Naomi has somewhat stolen the world title by hosting his money in the banking case. The match allows Naomi to sneak another victory to put Sky and Ripley in the rear view mirror. The evolution of the character of Naomi was impressive and she deserves an appropriate title race, especially if Arch-Nemesis Cargill wins the WWE female title. Pick: Naomi keeps the title – Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
Women’s Intercontinental Championship – Becky Lynch (C) against Lyra Valkyria (no DQ match): Valkyria has done a fantastic job to settle with fans and prove that she has huge ring skills. Although I would like to see her return to the Women’s Intercontinental Championship, it looks like a lynching victory and an opportunity to separate the two women in the predictable future. In addition, there is not a ton of value in the continuous task of the belt with the same stipulations “You can never challenge” in place. Pick: Becky Lynch keeps the title – Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)
American championship – Solo Sikoa (C) against Jacob Fatu (match in steel cage): Book the revenge match so early could have been a mistake. Fatu’s Red Title has never started. Sikoa’s cold fate ended once he became a champion. None of the two can afford a loss, but the stipulation of the match requires a winner. Fatu has a future main event written on him and can bounce back from loss better than Sikoa. This is enough evidence to rally the champion. Pick: Sikoa keeps the title – Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
Intercontinental championship – Dominik Mysterio (C) against AJ Styles: Mark one for Dom Mysterio in this one. Styles is a bullet-proof veteran who does not need an intercontinental championship race but can give Mysterio a beautiful bump by taking a loss here. Mysterio also has the day of judgment available to help him mark a cheap victory, keep the title and move on to something more interesting. Pick: Dominik Mysterio keeps the title – Brookhouse (also Mahjouri)
WWE Tag team championships – The Wyatt Sicks (Dexter Lumus & Joe Gacy) (C) against Andrade & Rey Fenix vs The title of the title of the Smackdown tag team has become an endless game of hot potato. Seven teams held the title in 15 months. The Wyatt Sicks faction has the advantage of numbers in an environment like this, they should therefore be considered as favorites. If WWE wants to continue the champions carousel, Fraxiom or the Andrade-Fenix duo would be new choices. WWE has not hinted at their long -term plans for divisions, but the patients of Wyatt are at the top of the potential winners here. Choose: The patients Wyatt keep the titles – Mahjouri (also Brookhouse)
