Former Champion Links AFC Contender to Commanders Star WR

With the pre-season just at the corner of the street, Washington commanders still have a key problem to solve. That being their dead end with Terry McLaurin.
After weeks of non-compliance with an agreement on an extension, this test has reached new heights. Earlier this week, reports emerged that McLaurin had officially asked for an exchange from the commanders.
Although he asked, Washington remained firm in his position that they have no intention of transmitting such a fundamental piece to the organization.

In light of these new developments, McLaurin was a hot topic in and around the NFL. Among those to weigh with their thoughts, there was Will Blackmon at the Friday factory of Good Morning Football. The former champion threw the idea that the Pittsburgh steelers were an landing point for McLaurin.
“If someone would be someone who is like the Super Bowl ready or someone who really goes everything,” said Blackmon. “I look at someone like the Steelers. Right now, they are in a situation where yes you have gone and got Aaron Rodgers because you are really going to everything. Why not have two n ° 1 if you really try to get there?”
The Steelers window with Rodgers under the center is tight, because the former MVP said it will probably be its last season in the NFL. Pittsburgh has already been released and has obtained a viable target in DK Metcalf. Giving Rodgers a threat of a deep ball like McLaurin would certainly increase their chances of running to the Super Bowl.

With regard to McLaurin extension talks, Price remains the largest roadblock. After a fifth consecutive season of 1,000 yards, he estimated that he obtained an agreement comparable to the highest wages in his position.
On the other hand, the commanders are prudent to give such a lucrative contract to a receiver which will soon be from the wrong end of 30.
Seeing that Washington does not want to exchange McLaurin, a new contract remains the most realistic result of this saga. Without developing talks improving, it is not clear when things end.
While all this lights up, McLaurin remains on the list of puppies due to an ankle injury.
