Arrests of Migrant ‘Got-Aways’ Continue in Texas Despite Record-Low Apprehensions at Border

The soldiers of the Ministry of Public Security of Texas, the national guards and the agents of the border patrol continue to stop the migrants who illegally crossed the border between the entrance ports and were headed in American interior. Recent arrests include three Chinese nationals who have moved away from the border after crossing Mission, Texas.
Lieutenant DPS Chris Olivares published a video on social networks showing the continuous activities of soldiers, guards and agents of the border patrol which, despite low record apprehensions on the border, continue to find smuggling migrants inside Texas after not having been apprehended on the border. The law application teams also continue to seize drugs in Texas.
An example reported Lieutenant Olivares, on July 31, shows a team of border patrol patrol that followed migrants in the county of Duval, Texas. The team followed the illegal extraterrestrials that tried to escape using a thick brush as a blanket. A Texas DPS K-9 team managed to apprehend the two illegal foreigners and put them back to agents of the border patrol.
Earlier Thursday, Olivares pointed out the arrest of three Chinese nationals apprehended near the mission after cleaning the border without meeting a border patrol agent.
The soldiers also stopped a human smuggling attempt last week in the county of Dimmitt, Texas, when they arrested a Florida driver. The soldiers found two Mexican nationals, illegally present in the United States, hiding in the rear loading area of the SUV.
On July 3, Olivares pointed out the arrest of ten illegal extraterrestrials near mission. These included four migrants from Uzbekistan.
In June, border patrol agents apprehended 3,995 migrants who illegally crossed the border in the five sectors based in Texas. This is down 30,766 in June 2024, according to the Southwest Land Border Meeting report published by US Customs and Border Protection. This represents a drop of more than 87% compared to the previous year. The apprehension numbers of June are also down compared to the 5,491 migrants apprehended in May.
The apprehensions of borders in the Texas-based sectors in June represented around 66% of all migrants apprehended along the southwest border with Mexico.
The nearly 4,600 migrants have apprehended in the nine sectors of the border patrol along the southwest border in July, another historic record for the Trump administration, Breitbart Texas reported on Friday.
