Receiver Luc Weaver of Sherman Oaks Notre Dame is rising fast

Call that of maturity, call it confidence, call it the current bulb.
Whatever the reason, Luc Weaver by Sherman Oaks Notre Dame High has found his comfort zone. If you want a secondary football player to be ready to zoom up, pay attention to the 6 -inch and 210 pound weaver, a receiver and a USC commitment.
Although he suffered a leg injury last week that could keep him away for the opening of the Knights season next month against Downey, Weaver built his body and skills thanks to old -fashioned work.
Its objective and recognition of the potential for transformation into results began in summer before its junior season.
“Once he started to succeed, he realized that many doors could be opened,” said track coach Joe McNab.
Weaver was the leading man of the 4×100 relay team from Notre Dame de Notre Dame who ran 40.83 seconds at the State Championships. He ran a personal record of 10.68 seconds per 100 meters in May. In football, he captured 51 passes and 10 affected last fall.
During the offseason, he set a school record for a receiver by lifting 330 pounds in the weight room. Football coach Evan Yabu said Weaver was exceptional during an appearance in summer seven against seven.
He has large hands and his chopped body should help make him a dominant silhouette when the knights get the ball.
