WATCH: Noah Lyles taunts Kenny Bednarek after win in 200-meter final; Bednarek shoves him back

The 200 -meter male final at the United States outdoor athletics championships was one of the most anticipated events of the weekend, because it issued competing with Kenny Bednarek and Noah Lyles – which won money and bronze, respectively, at the Paris Olympic Games last year – against each other.
The event did not disappoint, because Lyles ran Bednarek on the straight line to beat him four hundredths of a second (9.63 seconds to 9.67 seconds) and win the victory. The two high -level tracks of the competitors were side by side, and while Lyles passed Bednarek on the finish line, he turned to the Olympic silver medalist and looked at him, which Bednarek did not appreciate and gave Lyles an push while they stopped after the finish line.
Lyles then refused to shake hands with Bednarek at the start, and when the two did, the latter said to Lyles what he thought of his buffoonery – that Lyles seemed not to worry at all. It is not a shocking interaction given the story of Lyles de Rasoir of adversaries and even athletes in other sports beyond athletics. In this case, he had the performance to support his speech and it will only re -consist his next meeting on the track.
Bednarek spoke after the incident race, saying that “Noah will be Noah” while noting that Lyles was fresh and that he had run five rounds this weekend at the 100m and 200m. Bednarek also noted that it was nothing that Lyles said, but his actions, calling him “of anti -portive shit, and I do not take care”.
Bednarek won the 100m event on Friday evening, but Lyles – the 100m Olympic gold medalist – withdrew from the competition after winning its first round heat to focus on the 200m. Lyles Stardedown was apparently a reminder in Bednarek which is happening when he is in a race, while Bednarek fully believed that he can complete Lyles when they are both walking.
