You are not yet part of the WhatsApp club? Do not worry, it seems that you will soon be able to dive your toes without registering.

A new feature entitled “Guest Cats”, found by Wabetainfo in a beta version, will allow anyone without WhatsApp account to chat with someone who does it after the deployment of functionality in a future update.

To start a guest cat, an application user should invite a user not related to an online cat via a link. The guest part does not need to install WhatsApp on your phone or WhatsApp account, and the sender can share the online cat link on any platform they choose-SMS, E-mail or social networks.

When opening a cat link, the guest will be able to engage in an encrypted conversation with the sender. Invited cats will only be individual – no group cats – and photos, videos or GIFs cannot be shared. Voice and video messages will not be supported.

The owner of the META application did not immediately respond to CNET information requests.

This next WhatsApp feature puts Meta further in accordance with the European Union 2020 digital services law and the law on digital markets. One of the provisions of this legislation was to allow WhatsApp and Messenger users in Europe to communicate with people using other messaging services, which Meta calls for “third -party cats”.

WhatsApp is the most popular messaging application in the world, with more than 2 billion monthly users. The United States is paving the way with WhatsApp iOS downloads.
