‘World’s Ugliest Dog’ Contest Crowns New Winner

Petunia, a rescue dog from California, was crowned winner in 2025 of the “Liest Dog in the world” competition on August 8 at the Sonoma-Marin fair.

Besides its owner Shannon Nyman, Petunia won the first prize in the almost 50 -year competition that celebrates unconventional dogs.
