“Help me kissing change with a heart full of hope so that the part I know is more true than others-my children and I may have been made for each other, but I also believe that they have been made for more. More experiences, more knowledge, more growth than what could happen in our walls,” said Gaines.

In July, Joanna told people that it was going to be more difficult for her to say goodbye to Ella than send Drake.
“Ella, our second kid, she graduated this year, so we are going with another kid leaving the nest and trying to stay emotionally stable.”

Chip asked: “Do you think it will be more difficult [than with Drake?]””
Joanna replied: “Yes. I think there is an emotional difference. With Ella, we like to go to antique stores, plant stores and go to have coffee – it’s our rhythm. I have the impression of losing a friend in my daily life. I feel like I’m getting myself this summer and taking it with him.”
