TikTok’s latest obsession? ‘Hamilton’s’ ‘Best of Wives and Best of Women’

Lin-Manuel Miranda is a man at the end of many opinions. Some people feel that he is the talent of a generation while others find it with a creaky head. The most advanced criticisms (me) think it is both. But none of this really matters for the thousands of Tiktok users who take advantage of a brand new trend born from its 2015 musical, Hamilton.
The trend mainly presents young women, who can all come together in a way suitable outfits in the early 1800s, disguised as Alexander Hamilton and singing the part of Miranda to the song, “Best of Wives and Best of Women.” Usually, the Hamiltons Tiktok are trying to sneak in someone’s house in the middle of the night and are annoyed to be retained by their curious spouse.
While everyone nails this trend, my favorite is a creation of Becca Bastos or @Actressbecc, whose answer to Eliza singing “Aman Back To Slend” is a constant in my own brain. His video has raised more than 3.3 million views.

A narrow second is, of course, a creation by none other than @_ashbyflorence_, which becomes simultaneously viral for an incredible identity usurpation of Lorax.
In response, the men began playing the role of Eliza in the song.
It comes like Hamilton Returns in theaters for its 10th anniversary this year.
