Kingpin Of Politics Or Desperate To Stay Relevant? Obama Reportedly Calls Rising Socialist Star
Democrats are desperate for a “new Obama”. For the moment, the old Obama remains a party element. And he can be a socialist successor.

“In a long appeal in June, Obama congratulated Mr. Mamdani, offered him advice on governance and discussed the importance of giving people in a dark period, according to people knowing the conversation,” reports the New York Times (NYT). Other ObamaWorld players also have eyes on Mamdani, says the NYT, such as speech editor Jon Favreau and former main advisor Dan Pfeiffer.
The chief strategist of the Obama campaign and principal advisor, David Axelrod, even made a trip to the headquarters of the Mamdani campaign, reports Le Nyt.
“What I found when I went to this office was a familiar spirit that I had not seen for some time, of optimistic and optimistic idealism,” Axelrod said at the point of sale. “You cannot agree with each answer he gives, or each idea he has, but he certainly poses the right questions, that is to say how to make the country work for workers?”
He also asks questions like: “How to worsen the life of whites?” And “How to worsen the lives of intelligent people?”
Many have been made of the attitude of Mamdani. Beto O’Rourke praised the candidate’s “joy”. Democrats are desperately looking for their ranks for a candidate for under eight years old with a raging of charisma in his possession. Mamdani may be the best they have.

The Obama circle can see Mamdani “Not as a threat or a responsibility, but as a promising figure in a democratic party with an urgent need of fresh blood, ”speculates the NYT.
The election of Obama was supposed to inaugurate a golden age of American prosperity, harmony and good will among men. Racism was dead. Soon we could all stop talking about it.
Not so much. A few years of retrospective in hand, the presidency of Obama appears an accelerator for a strain of radical grievance policy. It was a reasonably effective strategy. Democrats have a choice. “Store the alarm clock”, or put it before and in the center. If Obama publicly kisses Mamdani, it will be difficult to read as something other than a hard swing to the latter.
