Oracle can now sell Gemini models following major Google Cloud deal

Oracle and Google Cloud have announced an agreement to make Google’s Gemini models available via the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OIC).

Oracle confirmed that the service would start by offering Gemini 2.5, but the company would continue to add other models for the generation of text, image, video, speech and music as well as specialized models like Medlm for Healthcare.

The company explained that customers would now be able to use Gemini models – among others – to help them build their own AI agents for coding, automation, research and more.

“Oracle plans to make the entire range of GEMINI models from Google available via the generative OIC service via new integrations with Vetex AI,” added Oracle.

Although the models continue to operate on Google servers, they are accessible via the Oracle Cloud platform with paid customers with Oracle Universal Credits, but the advantages of this partnership will be twice.

For Oracle, this means that the company can extend its offer of models, including third -party options, rather than pushing its own internal models, which makes it more attractive for a wider audience. With the agreement, Google can also expand its corporate scope, putting the Gemini models between more hands.

“Oracle was intentional by offering a choice of model organized for the company, covering open models and owners,” said the president of the OIC, Clay Magouyrk.

The news occurs about two months after Oracle concluded a similar case to make XAI’s Grok models available to customers, and although many hyperscale cloud suppliers are fighting to secure partnerships of exclusive or preferential AI models (such as Microsoft with Openai and AWS with anthropogical), Oracle multi-candlestick strategy could give it a more stable position the future.
