Falcons rookie RB Carter shines week after scary collision

ATLANTA – A week after a collision in which he was involved caused an injury at the end of the match, the recruit of the Falcons of Atlanta, Nathan Carter, said that the fact that the Morice Norris of the Lions was better to facilitate her the grip on Friday evening and to carry the ball without being provisional.
The result was a performance in small groups.
Carter had 63 yards in nine races, including a touch of 43 yards, Friday evening in the defeat of the pre-season 23-20 of the team against the Titans of Tennessee at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. When Carter came off for the big win, his teammates and his colleagues Bijan Robinson and Tyler Allgeier exploded with Glee on the sidelines.
The atmosphere was considerably different on August 8 during the first pre-season game for the Falcons against the Detroit Lions. In the fourth quarter, Carter took a postponement and tried to howl in the corner. Carter’s knee ended up connecting with the Norris helmet, slamming Norris’s head.
Norris was on the ground for about 20 minutes while being treated by the trainers. Finally, an ambulance led to the field and then transported Norris to a local hospital. Falcons coach Raheem Morris and Lions coach Dan Campbell agreed to suspend the match, and the two teams gathered on the ground for a prayer.
Norris moved and spoke that evening at the hospital and he joined Lions earlier this week. He is in a concussion protocol, but Campbell told journalists that overall “he is fine”.
Carter said he had contacted Norris via Instagram Direct Message earlier this week to check it and wish him good luck. Carter said Norris was “good humor” when they chatted.
“It is fine and it gives me a lot of encouragement,” said Carter Friday evening after the match. “I think that the most important thing was that the fact that he was fine and that he was doing good, and also to be able to understand that it was a football game and that at the end of the day, my performance does not rely on me trying to play for others, but I do it for the Lord. So, I really kept myself on my faith and help to be my peace today.”
Morris was with Carter immediately after the game last week, with one hand on Carter’s shoulder while Carter was on his knees. Morris said that Falcons are “very proud” to be in the team. Carter, an old running back from the state of Michigan, was an un residged free agent, but has intriguing measurable (he manages a dashboard of 4.4 40 yards) and has worked well enough in the camp to potentially win a place in the team.
“He plays with a fierce racing style,” said Morris. “It is difficult to get off on the ground. He showed it several times this evening.”
During his professional day, Carter showed a 40-inch vertical jump, which would have been the second highest among the runners with the combine. Its developed to 23 repetitions would have been tied for the first time, and its 10 -foot and 8 inch wide jump would have been equal to fifth row.
Carter, 23, fight against Carlos Washington Jr., Elijah Dotson and Jashaun Corbin for the third role of Running Back of Atlanta and a place on the list of 53 men. Washington was the holder, but is currently facing an injury to the hamstrings. Carter’s performance on Friday evening was the best of all the runners in the camp of the unable Robinson or Allgeier to the Falcons so far.
“It’s huge,” said Carter. “Not only for me, but really for the whole room on the back so that we can put things like that on a band. … When I marked this touch, the first people I saw were [Robinson and Allgeier] Celebrate for me. And it’s huge because I look so much these guys. “”
