Razer’s newest BlackWidow gaming keyboards go low-profile

Blackwidow is the best known series of Razer game keyboards, and for years they have all used Cherry Style Mechanical Switzers, as are most game keyboards at this stage. Customers who want more elegant and low profile designs often turn on the Deathstalker line. But the Blackwidow now gets a low profile love too, thanks to new switching conceptions. It is available in standard and TKL (Tenkeyless) provisions.
According to Razer’s promotional material, the hyperspeed blackwidow V4 keyboards with low profile offered all the same performances as their larger and thicker comrades while piling up the parts in a 18.5 mm thick body. This includes personalized switches, low in linear varieties, touch and clicky (yellow, orange and green, respectively), two layers of foam for vibrations and noise isolation, PBT (finally!), 2.4 GHz and Multi-Device Wireless and a battery duration at 980 hours.

Naturally, Razer’s Chroma lighting is in place, and you can save up to five profiles in local storage. Razer also says that these new Blackwidow keyboards can manage the controversial “Snap Tap” function, an almost insanting response tool which generally requires adjustable action. Razer claims to have done everything via the software, but some players are not convinced.
It is an elegant design, of course, and I appreciate that the easy -to -use wide volume wheel is in place. But compared to the other members of the excellent Blackwidow V4 series, I must say that there are some notable omissions. These new low profile switches are not hot, which means you are stuck with Razer switches after buying. And yes, there are many low -profile keyboards that include this feature, which I consider essential in a high -end keyboard. He has only 1000 Hz for the survey, which is good for us, simple humans, but super-marine players could ask more.

They are also very Dear. The TKL version is $ 200 and full size will cost you $ 230. This complies with the Deathstalker series, but 200 OS are still a lot to ask for a keyboard without hot exchange capacity.
