GOP ’Captured by Fascists and Neo-Confederates’
On Saturday on MSNBC “Velshi”, the representative of the state of Tennessee Justin Pearson (D) said that the Republican Party had been captured by “fascists and neo-confedére”.
Said Pearson. “You know, the house is on fire, we have to stop pretending not to feel smoke. It is time for America to wake up and put our morals above our ways. Now is not the time to try to try to play the cake with a party that was captured by the fascists and the neo-conferdered.”
He continued: “There are no more bipartisans with a party which intends to maintain the rule of minorities between technological oligarchs, white supremacists and Christian nationalists. They want a government managed by minorities, and they are ready to do so to all the necessary means. We have to fight back. You know, I think we will be judged not by what we do, but by what we do not do.
Pearson added: “It is now time to look at the instinct to say that we must meet a proportional response to the forces we face and to look, so that we can look at our children, our future generations, opposite and say that we have done everything that is in our power to get up and beat us, to save our democracy. Because if we are seriously about the threat of fascism, which means that we are nothing to do.
