Apple is reportedly making another woven iPhone case with a luxury price tag

Do you remember the fine Apple cases? If you don’t, let’s refresh your memory. It was a material that Apple was introduced during the iphone 15 event in 2023, offered on Apple iPhone cases as an ecological alternative to leather. Apple had good intentions with woven finers, but the material was not lasting enough for daily use, with reports on the ease with which the weeks, striped and proven, are weeks. The company finally and quietly interrupted the fine -fine iPhone cases.

Apple did not however abandon the idea. According to Leaker Majin BU, Apple will present Techswoven, another attempt at a leather alternative. BU reports that new technological cases, which will be introduced for the iPhone 17 in September, “will revolutionize” the telephone accessories market. BU also said that technological woven cases offer a “refreshed design, improved sustainability and a sustainable approach” which will establish “the new standard”.

Apple will offer the technical cases in black, blue, brown, green and purple. The cases will have two holes for the lanyards (BU does not say if a lanyard is included) and work with Magsafe. BU does not say either if tech woven cases will be offered for the iPhone 16 or 16th – When Apple introduces new iPhones in September, the previous pro models are interrupted, while the previous standard models (in this case, the iPhone 16) remain at a slightly lower price. The BU photos of the Tech Woven cases seem to indicate that Apple will publish them only for the new iPhone 17 range.

“With Techswoven, Apple goes from the final disappointment,” said BU. “If its promises of sustainability, elegance and sustainability are true, these cases could win users.” It is a high obstacle to overcome; Finewoven was bad in many ways. It is considered one of the worst products made by Apple. Techwoven must not only overcome the heritage of Finewoven, but he must prove that it is not only equal, but superior to the leather as a housing material.
