Transgenderism Among Youth Continues To Grow

More than 3% of young people aged 13 to 17 now think they are transgender, revealed a new report published on Wednesday.
In the United States, 724,000 children over 13 and 2.1 million adults claim to be transgender, according to a new report from the Williams Institute of the School of Law of the UCLA. Figures represent 3.3% of children and 0.8% of adults. (Related: Here are all the foul -smelling sex books that the left wants to read military children)
Young people are still much more likely to claim a transgender identity than the elderly, the institute reported, with 76% of those over 13 years old who demand the identity of under 35 years of age. Despite the compensation of 8% of the global population, 13 to 17 years represent 25% of those who claim to be transgender.
Some studies have shown that an increasing number of people identifying themselves as transgender – especially young girls – could be due to social contagion. A 2023 study revealed that more than half of adolescent girls who claim to be transgender had friends who also claimed to be transgender and that adolescents of both sexes were more likely to claim a transgender identity when they have friends who are also transgender.

“The younger generations are more likely to identify themselves as transgender, and we expect the trend to continue,” said Jody Herman, principal scholar of public policy at the Williams Institute and the main report of the report, in a press release. “Young people and young adults are more likely to identify themselves as transgender due to various factors, especially a greater will among young people to disclose that they identify as transgender on surveys.”
The rupture of men who think they are women, women who think they are men and those who claim a “non -binary” identity seems to be equal, according to the report.
The Williams Institute, which is part of the UCLA law school, aims to “guarantee that the facts – not stereotypes – laws, policies and judicial decisions that affect the LGBT community”, according to its website.
President Donald Trump has signed a decree of the first day declaring that the federal government will only recognize both organic sexes. In response, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that it would no longer follow the transgender identity in its data.
