Comparing Google Pixel 10 Pro vs. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

On the market of a new high -end Android smartphone? Fortunately, there are options of strong perfection for you.
Namely, the Google Pixel 10 Pro and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. The first has just hit the scene thanks to the Big Made By Google event, while the second has been on store shelves since January. Rather than sitting here and establishing more context, however, let’s jump directly into the comparison so that you can determine which flagship product you like more.

Many differences between these two phones will be summed up for personal preferences and will contain a decent quantity of nuances. The price is not one of them.
The Google Pixel 10 Pro starts at $ 999 while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at $ 1,299. Maybe the rest of this article will help you understand why the Samsung handset is more expensive, but the fact is that going with Google will save a little money.

In the end, these are the two smartphones, which means that they both look like smartphones. There is little to do in this context, in terms of physical design. That said, Samsung and Google have their own unique design languages that are worth speaking here.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra has made a huge improvement compared to its predecessor by including rounded edges on the frame of the phone, although they are notably more angular than the Pixel 10 Pro. The arrangement of rear camera modules, of course, explains the largest design change between these two phones. Samsung lets his painting triple lens float freely without any type of housing or camera bump, rather choosing the three lenses sit on each other. Google, on the other hand, still uses the same horizontal camera bar for its three lenses, which means that the phone looks like cyclops of X-Men.
Samsung “will always win” as regards color options, simply because it generally offers much more choice. The Galaxy S25 is available in seven colors: Jadegreen Titanium, Titanium JetBlack, Titanium Pinkgold, Titanium Black, Titanium Gray, Titanium Silverblue and Titanium Whitesilver. It should be noted that the first three colors on this list are only available in line.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 10 Pro is available in four shades: Moonstone, Jade, Porcelain and Obsidian.
Which flagship product has better specifications? Samsung.

Telephones are to be used and not to look at, so let’s talk about specifications. Here are the basic specifications of the Pixel 10 Pro:
And here are the equivalent specifications for Galaxy S25 Ultra:
There are obviously a few things to discuss here. The Ultra S25 is a much larger phone than the Pixel 10 Pro, with a higher resolution screen and a larger battery. It is actually closer to the 1,199 Pixel 10 Pro XL in these respects, which perhaps makes this phone a more directly comparable device. That said, this is a clear advantage for Google that there is a smaller and cheaper version of its professional phone.

This allows Google to offer a 128 GB storage option for those who wish, but it also means that the display and the battery are smaller. Life is a question of compromise. Interestingly, Google’s phone has more RAM, whatever the size. There are not yet benchmarks for the Tensor G5 chip, although if the previous years are an indication, it will probably not mark that the Elite Snapdragon 8 chip. This does not mean that the Pixel 10 Pro will have a clearly worse performance, however. According to my experience, they are generally quite comparable.
Samsung has a major advantage in this department: a stylus included. The pen accessory is delivered with the Ultra S25, and the phone has an integrated slit for this. You may or may not be the type of person who wishes to use a stylus, but it is objectively added value compared to the Pixel 10 Pro.
Google has the advantage on AI features

Now that we are a few years in the whole trend “each phone has AI features”, the differences between the devices are starting to become a little more vague. These two handsets are marketed in the form of “AI smartphones”.
To succinctly summarize these two phones in particular, the largest features of the Pixel 10 Pro AI are supposed to play the catch -up with Samsung and other competitors. It is not difficult for Google, which has a complete suite of AI tools powered by Gemini. And as the Pixel 10 Pro comes with a free year of Google AI Pro (if you buy at the Pixel Store, at least), Google can have the advantage.
Namely, the Pixel 10 Pro has a translation of live language during telephone calls, theoretically allowing transparent vocal communication between linguistic barriers (we always test the Pixel 10 series). The Galaxy S25 Ultra could already do it in January, although Google samples your voice for a more natural conversation and translations your device for confidentiality. Google has also added Daily Hub, a new one -stop shop for your daily schedule, your weather forecast, your task list and your relevant news. Samsung, believe it or not, also did it earlier this year.
Google has certain advantages in terms of IA photo editing. Pixel 10 Pro can modify photos depending on the text prompts, in case your ability to describe things is stronger than your mounting finger. Camera Coach is also a new intriguing feature that can potentially teach you how to compose photos. Apart from that, many AI editing features on these two phones are quite similar.
We must also mention the new Google magic signature tool. It is an AI assistant who finds information from applications like Gmail, Calendar, screenshots and messages so that he can automatically make recommendations. Send SMS to someone a dinner reservation? Magic Cue will take the reservation and add a link to the text for you.

Google Pixel 10 against Samsung Galaxy S25: which smartphone is right for you?
Which flagship product is the best for photography? We cannot yet make a verdict.
At Made by Google, the company said that the Pixel 10 Pro had the best camera on any phone in the world. While the S25 Ultra offers a much higher number of megapixels on its main rear camera, the Pixel 10 pro reticle supposedly the gap with a strong zoom, high -quality night photography and movement stabilization for video.
The specifications of the Pixel 10 Pro camera are as follows:
And here is what you get with Galaxy S25 Ultra:
It should also be mentioned that the two phones now offer up to 100x digital zoom, although it remains to be seen how well it works on Pixel 10 Pro. On Galaxy S25 Ultra, it is quite obvious that the phone makes a digital cunning to fill the whites.
Be that as it may, 200MP against 50MP for the main rear lens is a fairly striking difference, although we have to perform detailed tests to see if it manifests itself significantly. The Pixel 10 Pro could compensate for this with a 42MP selfie cam, depending on the quantity you like to take selfies.
At the end of the day, you can probably take very good pictures of your pets and / or meals for Instagram, whatever the phone you choose.
