Bills Wire's Buffalo Bills 53-man roster projection following the preseason
With the pre-season of the 2025 NFL behind us, it is time for the regular season.
But first, the Buffalo Bills and the 32 League teams must reduce their lists to 53 players from the 90 current teams.
Buffalo’s head coach Sean McDermott, and director general Brandon Beane have a lot of work in front of them and we will do some assumptions now.
Quarterrière (2)
Josh Allen, Mitchell Trubisky
Simple here. The Bills will try to bring Mike White back to the training team.
Running back (4)
James Cook, Ray Davis, Ty Johnson, Reggie Gilliam
The offensive coordinator Joe Brady loves him some Johnson in the passage game and the first two are defined. Gilliam on the back.
Large receiver (6)
Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Curtis Samuel, Elijah Moore, Tyrell Shavers
Samuel would cost $ 3 million on the salary ceiling to be cut, so despite not participating in the pre-season, it remains. Shavers has certainly won a job with his work this summer too.
Tight end (3)
Dawson Knox, Dalton Kincaid, Jackson Hawes
Hawes being a choice of recruit recruit of fifth round, he completes this group.
Offensive line (9)
Dion Dawkins, David Edwards, Connor McGovern, O’cyrus Torrence, Spencer Brown, Alec Anderson, Tylan Gable, Chase Lundt, Ryan Van Demark
The invoices are clearly as grant this summer and Buffalo likes versatility on line O otherwise. Lundt and Van Demark bring this.
Defensive line (10)
Ed Oliver, Daquan Jones, Dewayne Carter, Deone Walker, TJ Sanders, Greg Rousseau, Joey Bosa, AJ Epenesa, Landon Jackson, Javon Solomon
With Michael Hoecht and Larrry Ogunjobi suspended for six games, the defensive line is simple. But these games will be auditions so that some keep their list points once their return.
Second (5)
Terron Bernard, Matt Milano, Dorian Williams, Shaq Thompson, Joe Andreessen
2024 Pick of fifth round Edefuan Ulofoshio could take the place of Thompson as a former special team for the Bills. Thompson, however, obtained more shots on the defense before Ulofoshio. Ulofoshio could easily be taken in derogations in the event of a cut.
Cornerback (7)
Christian Benford, Tre’davious White, Ja’marcus Ingram, Dorian Strong, Taron Johnson, Cam Lewis, Dane Jackson
There is so much uncertainty with white (lower body) and hairstyle (knee) because of their injuries. This position group could be everywhere.
Security (4)
Taylor Rapp, Cole Bishop, Damar Hamlin, Jordan Hancock
Bishop had a solid pre-season final and should start alongside Rapp. The position is always a concern. Lewis can also provide depth here.
Special teams (3)
Tyler Bass (K), Brad Robbins (P), Reid Ferguson (LS)
