Omar’s call for action came in response to the news that Kilmar Abrego Garcia, an alleged member of MS-13 and illegal migrant, was taken into police custody on August 25.
Omar is among the other members of “Squad” stubbornly attacking ice. But his bump colleagues have adopted a more measured tone. (Related: Far-left went so far to the left that even Ocasio-Cortez too moderate for them)

Washington Democratic representative Pramila Jayapal has also decreased his requests.
Jayapal, as well as other representatives, presented legislation to “end” ice in 2018.
