Parents accused of fake kidnapping story are charged with murder as search for son continues

California parents accused of having falsely claimed that their 7 -month -old son had been kidnapped with a store car park had been charged on Tuesday by murder.

Rebecca Renee Haro, 41, and Jake Mitchell Haro, 32, were arrested in a court of Riverside county for murder and making a false police report, according to the judicial archives.

They are detained on a deposit of a million dollars, and their lawyer could not be joined immediately to comment on Wednesday.

The couple’s son, Emmanuel Haro, is still missing. He is presumed dead and the authorities continue to seek his remains.

“The circumstances surrounding this investigation are tragic, and we will continue to seek Emmanuel,” said Shanon Dicus of the County of San Bernardino in a press release on Friday. “I trust that our judicial system will hold responsible parents.”

The deputies began to seek Emmanuel just before 8:00 p.m. on August 14, after Rebecca Haro alleged that he was kidnapped outside the Big 5 sports products in the Yucaipa.

She told investigators that she was outside her vehicle, changing her diaper when an unknown attacked her and hit the unconscious, according to the Sheriff department.

The authorities said she told them that when she woke up, Emmanuel was no longer there.

“I was going to get the diaper, and someone said,” Hola. “I haven’t remembered anything since,” she told Ktla-Tv in Los Angeles. Rebecca Haro had a black eye when maintenance at the camera.

“I woke up here on the ground, and I did not see Emmanuel,” she said.

Jake Haro has also previously pleaded the return of his son.

“It’s just a baby. Going back our son,” he told the news station.

Wednesday, family members could not be joined to comment.

The Sheriff’s Office said that perfumes followed ones had been used to search for Emmanuel, and evidence was revealed which determined that an abduction never took place in the Yucaipa.

Friday, parents were arrested at their home in Cabazon. They should appear in court on September 4 for another indictment.
