NFL relaxes rules for Tom Brady as a broadcaster/team owner

Tom Brady will have fewer restrictions imposed by the NFL this season while he enters his second year as an analyst on the games broadcast on Fox.
The restrictions were imposed on the legendary quarter of the Arrière last August when its purchase of a 10% stake in the Raiders of Las Vegas was awaiting owners of the League. Brady’s minority participation was approved in October.
One of the so-called Brady rules promulgated by the NFL prohibited the recruit broadcaster from attending production meetings during which the Fox crew meets coaches and players before this week’s match.
This retreat was lifted, the spokesman for the NFL, Brian McCarthy, confirmed at the time on Wednesday morning.
However, there is a warning – Brady must attend these meetings at a distance. It is always forbidden to go to a team for production practices or meetings, said McCarthy.
Brady is authorized to interview off -site players, as he did on occasion last year, said McCarthy.
Like last year, Brady cannot “criticize those responsible with elegance,” said McCarthy, who added that there was no problem in this direction in 2024.
Brady, seven times champion of the Super Bowl of the New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, was authorized by the League to attend production meetings before the Super Bowl Lix in February.
Athletics was the first to report the relaxation of restrictions to Brady.
