“Stop Lying”: Voters Erupt at GOP Lawmaker’s Shocking Claim on Economy

The voters of the 2nd district of the Iowa congress took a shower the representative Ashley Hinson with huae and tunes for having supported the “Big, beautiful” bill of President Donald Trump.
The republican legislator was excorored during a town hall on Wednesday in Worth County, where Iowans urged Hinson to “cease to lie” after having claimed baselessly that the president’s key legislation had inaugurated “higher wages” and an improved cost of living.
“Higher wages?” cried an incredulous woman. “For whom? For you?
“The cost of living is higher than ever,” said another woman.
Hinson, a former television journalist, was remarkably unpopular in the town halls of her state as she ardently defends Trump’s agenda. She faced even more warmth in May when she told a crowd of Elkader that she was “proud to vote for” One Big Beautiful Bill “by President Trump”, causing so much contempt for the crowd that they shouted until she stopped talking.
“You are a fraud,” shouted a constituent at the time.
Hinson is not the only Maga legislator to have been burned in recent weeks to vote against the interests of its voters.
Wyoming Representative Harriet Hageman Faced Outrage Last Week for Supporting Trump’s Tariffs, New York Reprresntative Elise Stefanik was roundly booed by a feisty crowd when she emerged in Plattsburg Monday to Rename A Centy Building, and Nebraska Reprresntative Mike EXCORIATED DURING A TOWN HALL EARLIER THIS MONTH FOR FAILING TO PROTECT SNAP BENEFITS, VETERANS ‘PROGRESS, AND HEALTH CARE ACCESS, WHICH COMPANED WITH VOTS’ SIMERING RETENTIME to be lagging behind EPSTEIN files.
The Republicans were informed earlier this year by party leadership to avoid engaging in town halls, because the format would give voters the possibility of expressing their disagreement with Trump’s policies.
The senator of Iowa, Chuck Grassley, faced an equally explosive town hall in April, when he was in a hurry to defend the president’s casual attitude towards the Supreme Court when he challenged a prescription linked to Kilmar Armando Ábrego García.
Voters have exploded the following week in Northwood. Grassley has not organized a town hall since then.
