Foster Dog’s Reaction After Getting Her First Bed and Blanket Melts Hearts

The hearts were melted by the adorable reaction of a rescue dog to his new bed and his cover, and it could be the first time that she felt comfort and such love.

Maria Morell opened her home in Auggie, a dog who was found wondering the park by herself. The dog was clearly badly nourished, nervous and it is believed that she endured negligence in the past. If Morell and her husband do not promote Auggie, she was going to be taken to the refuge and probably euthanized because of her poor health.

Since he took Auggie, Morell has documented his experiences on Tiktok (@ maria.morell_). A particular video of Auggie gave a new dog bed and a new cover just for her really attracted online attention, generating more than 466,300 views and 52,900 likes on Tiktok at the time of the editorial staff.

Auggie seemed worried at first and didn’t really know what to do with the bed. Morell was sitting next to her, patiently waiting for her host dog to be ready to lie down and become comfortable. When she finally settled, Morell added that she had “almost cried” after realizing that this “could be her first time with a bed and a blanket”.

Auggie certainly seemed grateful for her plush bed and soft cover. She curled up in a tight ball and started having fun shortly after.

Morell and her husband have since taken Auggie to be checked by a veterinarian, and it was a revealing experience. They learned that the auggie has pancreatitis, kidney failure, heartworms and respiratory infection.

Consequently, the host dog has been admitted to the veterinarians where it will remain on liquids and antibiotics for several days. In a Tiktok Post follow -up, Morell explained that the recovery of Auggie “will be slow and stable”, but she finally receives the medical care she desperately needs.

The story of auggie rescue has touched many online hearts, leading to more than 650 comments on the viral tiktok video so far. Many commentators have been left in tears after seeing how Auggie had frightened, while others congratulated Morell for having given this sweet dog a second chance to live.

A comment on the post reads as follows: “I break the heart of how anyone can treat a beautiful dog like that.”

Another Tiktok user wrote: “I cry. A precious soul. I am so happy that you are. Now his good life begins!”

Another person replied: “Thank you for saving it! Never understands how someone can be so nasty with these sweet and innocent babies.”

While a commentator added: “My heart! She really has the chance to have found you.”
