Florida State linebacker Ethan Pritchard in intensive care after being shot | College football

An assist from Florida State is in critical condition but stable after being killed during his family visit, the seminoles announced on Monday.
Ethan Pritchard, a first -year student in Sanford, Florida, was in intensive care in a hospital in the Tallahassee region. He was killed Sunday evening while he inside a vehicle outside the apartments in Havana, about 15 miles northwest of Tallahassee, according to the Sheriff’s Bureau of Gadsden.
“The officers arrived [and] were able to get him out of the vehicle, and EMS arrived where they transported him to a local hospital, “said a spokesperson for the Sheriff.
No arrest on the shooting has been announced. The Orlando Sentinel reported that Pritchard led a member of his family home when someone confused the car with another vehicle and opened fire.
“The Pritchard family is grateful for the support of so many people, as well as the care of the first stakeholders and health professionals, and asks that their privacy be respected at the moment,” said FSU in a statement. “Other updates will be provided because they are available.”
Pritchard did not play during the opening of the season of Florida State, a victory of 31-17 Saturday against the Alabama in Tallahassee.
