Madrid coach Xabi Alonso was asked if Rüdiger had been the victim of racism. “This is what Rüdiger said and we believe it,” he said.

Cabral denied having abused Rüdiger Racial, saying that he had sworn him and called him a coward. “It was a fight, we collided, he said that I had struck him with my hand, then there was an argument and the referee made the sign of racism … I repeated the same thing all the time,” he said, referring to the verbal violence used.
