President Trump said National Guard soldiers will deploy to Chicago to crack down on crime there, though he did not say when. Democratic Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker slammed the move saying there was no crime emergency to justify it. While murders have declined 32 percent over the last year, this past holiday weekend there were 8 homicides and 58 people shot in Chicago. NBC News’ Peter Alexander reports.
