I use my mixer for many things, but the most difficult task I ask is to make smoothies. What is this stenologist talking about?
Most high -end mixers include a separate sabotage tool intended to disgust the ingredients inside the mixer jar. To use them, you usually have to stop the mixture and eliminate the lid or open the beak to wipe your concoction. The Twisti has two small stamps integrated into the lid that can be turned manually while the mixer runs, avoiding you having to stop and mix things. It is a little time saving, but for a usual smoothie, a sauce or a dip creator, it is the one you will appreciate.
The twisti with its integrated stamps had no trouble turning ice cream, nut milk and frozen fruits in a perfect smoothie in one go.
To what extent does it work?
I found that the twist sabotage had done exactly what he had designed to do for each mixture work that I asked him. From the mixture of coarse smoothies ingredients to the manufacture of thicker dips and sauces, the torsion sabotage allowed me to finish each preparation without stopping and removing the cover. It also allows you to mix with less liquid overall, because the stamps will keep heavy and dry mixtures in motion until they are completely mixed.
The only ingredients that he cannot always reincorporate the half-set is the butter sticky of nuts and dense syrups or honey which can stick on the sides of the cartridge.

The Ninja Twisti is small but powerful
Despite a 1,600 watt engine, the Twisti is small compared to most other mixers sporting a similar power. The base measures 6 x 6 inches and the whole unit measures only 14 inches high with the cartridge and the 34 ounce lid in place. Due to the unusual power / size ratio, it tends to switch a little during the mixture. To remedy this, the Twisti is modernized with two suction cups and a rubber traction at the bottom to keep it in place on the counter.

Other characteristics of the Ninja Twisti
In addition to the smoothie adjustment, which works in long pulses, another tactic to prevent the ingredients of the agglutoring, the twisti has adjustments intended to extract (juice), one for frozen drinks, another for tartinades and a fifth for bowls. They all seem to do the same thing – mix, stop and mix again – but for different durations intended to provide optimal results for each type of recipe. There is a small net cap with a rubber cap integrated into the lid to add ingredients without completely removing it.

Overall mixture
Despite the propensity for smoothies to stick during the mixture, they generally do not require much power to mix gently – but other works do it. The Twisti has 1,600 Watts of Oomph, which is up there with larger and premium mixers that we tested, so I expected it to work comparable.
At CNET, we have standard tests for which we execute any Blender that we assess, so I ran them on the Twisti. The little but powerful blender has exceptionally successfully successful, crushing ice cubes in the mittes. He also did a quick job to transform almonds into almond flour and delivered a smooth and panty -free pancake dough (partly thanks to the torsion sabotage).

Potentially greater probability of mixer rupture
There is a potential red flag for this mixer to consider, in particular for a heavy user. The integrated torsion pads are made from plastic and, although they feel fairly robust, it is one more room that could potentially break with rigorous use. That said, if one of the two torsion stamps had to hang on, it would not make the mixer unusable because you would always have a hoof to help loosen the ingredients. And if both should break, you would probably have a functional mixer, just without the advantage of the torsion sabotage.
As innovative as it can be, I am slightly concerned with the salient plastic pads of the cover over time.
In general, the twistdi feels well constructed, although premium brands mixers, especially Vitamix,, Breville And Blend Feel more solid and use significantly higher plastic and rubber grades for the base, cartridge and cover. That said, most of these models will cost you at least $ 250.
The elegant beast is always my real favorite personal mixer, but it is more limited than the torsion in capacity and power.
Other smoothie mixer options to consider
Ninja manufactures a few other mixers with a rotation blade that sets up the center of the cartridge, like its Premium more mixer duo and the Foodi Power Blender and processor.
