Aukey announced a new modular load solution called Magfusion Ark. It combines a base station with up to three Qi2.2 load pads with spherical power banks that each have their own Qi2.2 compatible pads. The spheres support the Passhoux load and can load another device wirelessly while they are on the base station, but they can also be removed and used as autonomous wireless chargers powered by their 6700 mAh battery or a USB-C port.

The prices will be announced closer to the Magfusion Ark version in the first quarter of 2026, but it will be available in three different configurations: a package which includes a base with three pads and three spheres, as well as bases to one and two pads with the spheres sold separately. The ark is fully compatible with Qi2.2, and the base and the spheres will charge the Qi2.2 devices wirelessly at rates up to 25 W.

On the only battery power, the number of times the spheres can be used to completely recharge a device as a smartphone will depend on the capacity and the health of the battery of this device. But since the battery in the spheres is also used to supply a cooling fan, you can probably expect to get it at least a full smartphone load, or a handful of refills.

Each sphere also has a USB-C 30W port. You can use it to maximize the capacity of the sphere battery by avoiding the ineffectiveness of the wireless load, load devices which are not compatible with Qi2, or even keep the plug -in sphere to use as a load support. You can also load two devices simultaneously from each sphere – one from the USB -C port and one from the Qi2 cushion – but wireless charging rates fall to 15W while the exit from the USB -C fall at 20W.

Although Akey says that the Magfusion Arche offers a “total of six charging points”, you can only load three wireless devices at the same time on the basic station, excluding spheres. When the spheres are each used independently to load other devices, this then releases the pads on the basis for other devices. It is a bit limiting given the relatively large footprint of the arch base, but the additional flexibility to be able to enter one of the spherical chargers and use it anywhere in your home could be worth the compromise.
