Precision agriculture includes a series of data -based sensors, analysis of artificial intelligence (AI) and GPS guided machines which reduce the entries of fertilizers and pesticides, increases yields and increases climate resilience (1). These tools offer substantial environmental advantages by reducing agricultural runoff, economic gains thanks to improved efficiency and reducing exposure to chemicals. In North America, the access and capacity of farmers to afford the agricultural technology of precision depend on the free movement of its components through the American-Canadian border (2). Recent prices and reprisal prices have disrupted the flow of goods and increased prices, threatening the expansion of precision agriculture in the United States and Canada.
