Buccaneers in favorable spot in latest CBS Sports power rankings
Power rankings are always interesting to see how they can think about your team and others within your division.
After off-season and pre-season, the groups reassess their lists and project them, incorporating new looks and revisions according to the observations of the coaches. Bucs had one of the best projects, they had great off -season, and now the regular season is upon us.
In the Power 1 Power ranking on CBS Sports, they have the BUCs in sixth place, up three places in their final classification in which they finished the year. They write, "They are loaded. Baker Mayfield will push to win the MVP with a few large numbers. Defense will also be well improved."
Bucs have a chance to prove how good their defense can be with the changes they have made, in particular to bring in Haason Reddick, to write Jacob Parrish and to Benjamin Morrison. In attack, the choice of draft in the first round Emeka Egbuka will have the chance to show why he deserved the 19th overall selection. However, the offense will be without Chris Godwin, Tristan Wirfs and Jalen McMillan to start the year.
Much to prove that they deserve this ranking from week 1.
