The Undertaker Debunks Long-Standing WWE Rumor

The temple of WWE renown, Kurt Angle, and The Undertaker have demystified a long -standing rumor about the undefeated sequence of the legendary Wrestlemania of the phenomenon. In a new podcast, the two men confirmed that even if they wanted to have a match in Wrestlemania, there was never a plan for angle to be the one who finished the sequence.
The rumor was a subject of discussion on fans for years, coming from their classic match of the world heavyweight championship to “No Way Out” payment in 2006.
The Undertaker: “I didn’t want anyone to break the sequence”
Kurt Angle was the last guest of the “Six Feet Under” podcast from The Undertaker. The program opened its doors with the two men directly speaking to rumor.
“No, I don’t want anyone to break this. We wanted to fight against ‘Mania, but I didn’t want someone to break the sequence,” said the Undertaker.
Kurt Angle has accepted, adding that the decision not to have the match in Wrestlemania was taken by Vince McMahon. “We wanted to fight … I don’t think the sequence should have been broken,” said Angle. “We presented it to Vince, and Vince said:” No, you will fight the previous month. “That’s what he said.”

The match that occurred between the two, at “No Way Out in February 2006, is considered by many as one of the biggest worldweight championship matches in the history of WWE. The technical masterpiece saw The Undertaker challenge the angle of Kurt so the champion in a fight that presented the incredible skills in men’s ring.
The quality of this match, combined with the fact that it took place just before Wrestlemania 22, is what fueled the years of speculation that a revenge match was initially planned for the biggest stage.

The undefeated sequence of the Undertaker in Wrestlemania has become one of the most protected and most important scenarios in the entire professional struggle. For 21 consecutive years, “the phenomenon” was victorious at the “showcase of immortals”. The sequence has finally become a greater attraction than the world championships themselves, with the best stars queuing for a chance to be the one that breaks it.
The sequence was finally, and controversial, finished by Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania XXX in 2014. In the Podcast, the angle woman and the entrepreneur, Michelle McCool, said that the sequence should never have been broken.
