There are many productivity applications available today, but many are still seeing Microsoft Office such as the gold stallion. The problem is that, unlike the continuation of Google applications, the office is widely paid: although you can use web applications for free, if you want to access these programs in full, you will have to subscribe to Microsoft 365, adding another monthly or annual cost to your budget.
Fortunately for some of us, it now changes – at least for next year. As the rod reports, Microsoft now offers 12 months of Microsoft 365 staff for free to students. This plan, which generally costs $ 99.99 per year or $ 9.99 per month, comes with Microsoft Office Applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote and Outlook on platforms like PC, Mac, IOS and Android.
In addition to the Office Applications themselves, Microsoft 365 is also delivered with Microsoft Copilot access in the desktop version of these applications, as well as the designer and the image generator and the editor powered by AI. Microsoft has pushed the integration of AI into its applications for more than two years now, and whether or not you find these useful tools, they are available as part of this free plan. It is important to note, however, that Copilot in Excel requires Autosave activated, which records all files on OneDrive, while the use of Copilot in Outlook only works with @ outlook.com, @ hotmail.com, @ Live.com or @ msn.com accounts.
Microsoft also throws 1 TB of cloud storage as part of this plan, as well as Microsoft’s defender support. You will have to download the Defender app on your choice of choice.
This plan will bring you a free year of Microsoft 365 staff, but you will not have to pay the high price once it expires. Instead, Microsoft offers a 50% discount on the monthly rate of Microsoft 365 Personal, as long as you are still an eligible student.

Eligibility and registration
Microsoft does not really restrict this agreement to specific types of students. As long as you are registered in a accredited college or university, you are eligible for this promotion. This includes full -time and part -time students.
That said, you will need to check your eligibility as a current student. Microsoft says that you can check your status with your school’s messaging account, the school account, the “registration details”, the “International Identity Cad, the verification code or any other documentation such as a dated student identifier, an up -to -date step, a current class calendar or a school acceptance letter.
Like other student plans, Microsoft will check your eligibility once a year. As long as you meet the requirements of this check, you will be set with your reduced plan for an additional 12 months.
