Prep talk: Slye brothers lift Salesian High football team

The Slye brothers of Squarian High, Jordan Jr., a second defensive rear / receiver, and Marty, a first year quarter, certainly have the genes to succeed.

Their mother, Dena, school advisor, was out of softball in Washington. Their father, Jordan, was a receiver in Washington.

Now the boys have helped Squarian to a 2-1 departure. Jordan Jr. is a 6 -foot 1 inch corner with great potential. Marty obtained family size at 6-4 and 235 pounds. He was a quarter-back in three games, asked to contribute immediately in the first year.

Jordan Jr. said it was fun to play together in the same team. Jordan caught a Marty Touché pass Thursday evening against Mgr Alemany, but it was recalled because of a penalty.

“It’s incredible to have them, and a third is on the way,” said coach Anthony Atkins.

Yes, a third brother of Slye, Michael, will be a first year student next fall, so get ready at the time of the Slye brothers in Squalien.
