President Donald Trump appointed president of Kennedy Center in February and dismissed some of the former members of the Center’s board of directors. At the time, he said that they “did not share our vision of a golden age in the arts and culture”. He replaced them with 14 other members, including allies such as the second Lady Usha Vance and the singer of “God injuries the USA” Lee Greenwood.
In a social article of truth at the time, he also called “awake” content organized by the center before the reshuffle.
The president appointed his envoy for special missions, Ric Grenell, as chief of Kennedy Center as well. Before the premiere of “The Revival Generation”, Grenell shared a video message exhibiting his vision of the Arts Center under his new board. He said the denominational content will be presented at Kennedy Center in the future.
“An important aspect of the arts is to provide a denominational and family-based programming that talks about the human mind, which reflects the lasting hope of American history there,” he said.

Carson and other conservative leaders, including the niece of Martin Luther King Jr., Dr. Alveda King, attended the screening of the film on August 27.
“In each generation, each decade, each platform and gender, God raises a standard,” King told Fox News Digital. “Now, the moment right now for” The Revival Generation “at Kennedy Center is simply incredible. I came here many years ago in an opera, I think, and it was very memorable. But this one exceeds it.”
Carson congratulated the new painting of the center for welcoming the first.
“I think it is spectacular that they are open to something other than the ideology on the left. And the fact that in a place that generally does not celebrate Christianity, it is at the front and in the center,” he said.

“The Revival Generation” is a new documentary on the great Christian revival movement of the last two years which has seen tens of thousands of us, students experiencing a spiritual awakening and a baptism in the Christian faith.
The film – produced by the Christian Broadcasting Network – documented the way this Christian renewal began as a modest little group on the University of Auburn campus. Hosted by Tonya Prewett, the modest biblical study of the campus turned into a national Christian revival.
Prewett said in the film how she wanted to help young students who were fighting against anxiety and depression. Soon, his sharing of the Gospel spread beyond the small group and drew the attention of thousands of students to the campus.
The film documents how the revival of the Auburn campus of 2023 has spread to other big national colleges, with Prewett and its team of Christian ministers preaching and baptizing thousands of students across the country.
That a confessional film so powerful was presented at first at the Kennedy Center represented a major cultural moment in America, according to the conservative VIPs on the red carpet. Many of them highlighted Trump’s influence as the reason why the denominational content had such an important characteristic.
The founder of the Faith & Freedom Coalition, Ralph Reed, told Fox: “Oh, there is no doubt that it is unprecedented, and Kennedy Center is one of the most important cultural institutions in American society and American life. And to have this first film here on this type of platform, I think it’s a big problem.”
“I congratulate President Trump and Ambassador Rick Grenell for what they do to make sure that there are many denominational performance here at Kennedy Center,” he added.
