Man Gets Stuck on Giant American Flag at Jets-Steelers Game

Someone tried to steal the moment of “Old Glory” on Sunday when a man found himself stuck above a giant American flag before the opening of the Maison des Jets against Pittsburgh.
As is customary in many league stages, the jets have deployed a giant American flag to honor America before the game of the national anthem. Dozens of people hold the edges of the flag, keeping it stretched and simulating by waving the arms from top to bottom. What is not usual is what happened on Sunday, when a man could be seen above the flag, fighting to descend.
X users reacted quickly.
“These colors do not work (they crawl),” wrote a user.
“America said you are not going anywhere, friends,” said another.
“Embarrassing but funny,” wrote a fan. “It must have been a fan of the jets.”
Another asked: “How was accidentally walking on a flag the size of a football field?”
The bizarre event was not a good omen for the jets. They abandoned the opening at home by a score of 34-32 against the Steelers, which were led by their former quarter-arre, Aaron Rodgers.
Then the jets will go to Buffalo to face their division rival. The Steelers will house the Seahawks.
