Netflix has just dropped a shocking new movie you need to stream after Unknown Number for one simple reason
Let’s face it: Unknown number could well be one of the most memorable Netflix documentaries of all time. When Lauryn and her boyfriend Oliver began to receive SMS from anonymous numbers who quickly became explicitly threatening, they did not expect the culprit to be Lauryn’s mother, Kendra. My jaw is still on the ground after the torsion perfectly executed two -thirds of the path through the new film.
Frankly, I have been looking from the same high documentary. I did not expect to get it so early, but of all that is new on Netflix in September 2025, another new film released today (September 8) could well do the trick. In fact, I was already sitting only after reading the synopsis.

Let’s throw the scene: it was in 2003 in Antwerp, in Belgium. The target is the global diamond center of Antwerp, staying in the city’s so-called Diamond district with tons of wells … You have the idea. Between February 15 and 16, 2003, a gang of thieves stole bulk diamonds, gold, silver and other types of jewelry worth more than $ 100 million, robbery always considered one of the “largest of the century” to date.

The safe which stored the precious precious stones and the metals was located on two floors under the ground floor of the building, protected by multiple safety mechanisms. These included a lock with 100 million possible combinations, infrared heat detectors, a seismic sensor, a doppler radar and a magnetic field. The building itself had a private security force, the district already strongly kept and monitored.
Piece of cake, right? Well, although arrests have been carried out in connection with the case, the stolen diamonds themselves have always been recovered to date. As Stolen: robbery of the century Explains that the Honcho de Gang Leonardo Notarbartolo was arrested the following Friday, because the garbage nearby had connected it to the scene thanks to the DNA found on a sandwich at Salami.
I’m not going to tell you exactly how our gang has succeeded in the robbery – it is literally the pleasure of looking at the documentary – but what the team manages to do is completely breathtaking. It is just as incredible as such a team of genius can be as silly by leaving incriminating evidence.
Anyway, Stolen: robbery of the century is easily up there as one of the best Netflix documentaries for me, and I saw almost everything in its rear catalog.
