Trump’s Corrupt Firing of Lisa Cook Backfires as Brutal New Poll Hits

There was a fun turning point in the saga involving President Trump’s corrupt effort to withdraw Lisa Cook as governor of the federal reserve. Trump relied on his entertainment to prepare allegations of mortgage fraud against Cook– and other enemies too– But now Press organizations blew up large holes in the scam. They pointed out that many Trump officials, and even parents of his first ally in anti-cook effort, have done similar things about their mortgages. And this is not the only way to turn against Trump: a new CBS News survey contains brutal conclusions for Trump at all levels, and above all, he finds that really huge majorities are opposed to Trump’s efforts to interfere with the Fed. We talked to New Republic The writer Matt Ford, who covers legal affairs. He explains why the use by Trump of this tactic is so corrupt, why the challenges of the battle on Cook are greater than they seem, and what could happen when everything landed at the Supreme Court.
